Prominent global strategy consultant, Philippe De Backer, has left Bain & Company in Dubaï (UAE) after more than 15 years, to join Korn Ferry as its newest senior client partner (press release available on Business Wire).
Philippe De Backer has enjoyed a hugely successful career at Bain, first joining in 1992, and rising through the ranks to most recently serving as its partner advisor on the Global Financial Services (GFS) practice. Here he oversaw intellectual capital and senior talent development. He also launched and co-led the GFS, and opened both Bain’s Brussels and Amsterdam office. “Philippe brings impeccable credentials to our firm,” said Mark Arian, CEO of Korn Ferry Hay Group. “He is an advisor to CEOs and boards worldwide and is widely regarded for his deep financial services and corporate strategy expertise.” He holds a BA in economics and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
