A group of 27 US CEOs – including the CEO of McKinsey & Company – have signed a pledge to ensure they have gender parity in their organisaations by 2030. The executives – which also hark from American Electric, Coca Cola, and Bank of America – have been dubbed the ‘Paradigm for Parity’, and have vowed to tackled unconscious bias in the workplace to bring women in executive roles to 30% in the near future and 50% by 2030. Last year, a report by McKinsey itself revealed that $12 trillion could be added to global GDP by advancing women’s equality.
