President-elect Donald Trump has this week named who will comprise his Economic Advisory Forum, and chief among the list is Rich Lesser, the boss of Boston Consulting Group. Members of Trump’s 16-strong panel also include Daniel Yergin, founder of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, and their remit will be to provide input on ‘how government policy impacts economic growth, job creation and productivity.’
Lesser has been CEO of BCG since 2013, and first the firm in 1988. He was elected to partner in less than 10 years and served as the head of the firm's New York Metro offices from 2000 to 2009. In this period, the New York office became the firm's largest in the country, based on revenue and headcount. He was elected to the firm's Executive Committee in 2006.
