EY is presenting this acquisition as "an important step in further building its strategy consulting practice". EY strengthened its organization with all 59 employees of OC&C Benelux, including six partners, as part of Transaction Advisory Services. They will operate from now under the brand name Parthenon-EY.
Parthenon-EY describes itself as an international strategy consulting organization with around 900 consultants in more than 30 offices, and was formed when The Parthenon Group merged with EY in the end of 2014.
OC&C Strategy Consultants International, the network to which OC&C Benelux belonged, is unaffected by this transaction and will continue to operate from its 14 worldwide offices.
Pieter Witteveen, Managing Partner at OC&C Benelux: "Becoming part of an international organization with the scale and depth of EY brings greater European coverage and increased growth perspectives both locally and internationally. This will benefit our clients and will offer unique career opportunities to our professionals. As the culture of our firms is highly comparable, we believe the combination will be a perfect fit.” "
